The Computer Guy offers On Site services for those who cannot bring their computer in or who have special needs in their home or home office environment.  We offer FREE pickup and delivery within a 45 mile radius of Hampton, Iowa.  No need to unplug and haul everything in to someone just standing behind a counter -- WE COME TO YOU at no extra charge!

 

This 45 mile coverage area would include portions of Franklin County, Butler County, Cerro Gordo County, Floyd County, Grundy County, Hamilton County, Hancock County, Hardin County, Worth County, and Wright County.  (Includes Hampton, Sheffield, Allison, Dumont, Eldora, Mason City, Clear Lake, Thornton, Rockwell, Iowa Falls, Waverly, and Clarion).

 

Our on site labor charges are $50 per hour, plus tax.  Here are some of our most requested on site services at The Computer Guy:

 

PC Inspection and Tune-Up

This is a 20 point PC inspection of your computer and tune-up.  We will also scan the computer for viruses and can remove them for an extra fee.

 

Virus & Spyware Removal

On site Virus & Spyware removal is a more basic process with some of the extensive steps passed over for a more direct removal of the issues causing your computer problems.  If the computer cannot be cleaned within an hour, it may be taken back to our shop for a full virus removal.

 

Data Transfer Services

Depending on the needs, we will determine the best way to transfer your data via online methods or flash drive.

 

Home & Home Office Networking

Our most popular service is performing networking services.  Printers, laptops, desktops and secured wireless networks can be set up on site.
